Anki for July

Continuing from June. (I should start tagging posts.)

The Good:

I managed to clear out the new cards for the song decks, got the max turnover down to 5 days for all the decks I’ve started (not counting 6000 step 5 which I started by mistake), and kept the number of new cards down to (mostly) reasonable numbers.

The Bad:

I was not counting on how high the number of new cards in the main decks still was, which do not show up in the list. If you don’t get through the 20 new cards a day you can spend quite a lot of study time not making any significant progress. This is gonna take longer than a screengrab but I need to make a list to see how much I can really do in August:

  1. T.& I. Verbs – 173
  2. 2000 step 01 – 497
  3. 2000 step 02 – 613
  4. 2000 step 03 – 731
  5. 2000 step 09 – 806
  6. 2000 step 08 – 816
  7. 2000 step 06 – 840
  8. 2000 step 10 – 844
  9. 2000 step 05 – 860
  10. 2000 step 04 – 880
  11. 2000 step 07 – 913
  12. 6000 step 01 – 1141

    So, yeah…kinda…not so good.

    The Ugly:

whatamidoingohgodwhat Just. Fuck. Fucking. FFF. Fucking Ff. F. F it.

Alright. I’m ok. Really I’ve been doing alright lately. I seem to feel better and better, but stable. Everything could work out. Of course the rest of the world is going straight to hell, literally everything is falling apart. But hey, I’m making personal progress with my bullshit and my learning something it’s not at all clear what I’m doing with. But the way I figure it, it’s better to plan on things working out in some fashion. I mean personal survival as people and countries or what have you. You’ve got to think that all the people currently in power, big corporations, most politicians, it’s all in their favor if you’re kept in a state of constant anxiety/ignorant stupor. They can plan for the future because they know they will survive. The only logical thing to do even if you’re not sure of you’re survival is to assume survival or things will only get worse if you do if fact survive. So that’s where I’m at. 進め!
